Leaping out of the glass are heady aromatics of liquorice, blackberry, black cherry and choc mint followed by vanillin oak, scorched earth and peppered dried herbs. Big, rich and lush, the palate is engulfed with voluptuous blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruit which oversee a back drop of toasty vanillin oak, earth and blackpepper. Firmly built with ripe chewy tannins providing the framework. Superb power and depth with a long opulent aftertaste.
